UNDERSEA RUINS

I promise I don't just shop. Although it sometimes feels like that. Yesterday I took a multi-tasking trip out to these old underwater ruins, I haven't been there for a while and I wanted to photograph this Mermaid tail. Quarantine put these mesh Mer-tails up for sale at the Zombie Popcorn Carnival. Overall I like these tails a lot because they are mesh instead of a pair of pants with fins and a crotch-flap-cover-thingy and an Animation that keeps your legs together. (If you have bought a Mer-tail before you must know what I mean.)

By the way, today is the last day of the Carnival so you really should hustle and get your cute bum over there if you forgot or want to go back to pick up a few more things. It's very fun and no longer a lagfest. You're out of excuses :D

This lovely lewelry from Ellabella is available there too. The gorgeous hair from booN is an old favorite that covers all my bits, but putting it on I couldn't help wishing he would pretty-pretty-please redo it in mesh! (All the long bits go through my body in bendy poses like those in my old Mermaid AO.)

... in case you'd like to visit. It looks like a linden-built (mole-built) feature with a few treasure chests lying around in the depths for those who like that sort of thing. I wish they would build more of this kind of exploring spot, only with a bit better build quality. It might be inspirational for more mainlanders :)

I should mention there are a few very nice gifts out at Winter Magic. Last time I was there, a slightly-noobish-but-nice lady asked me how the hunt worked, and I explained that it was shopping, not a hunt. But that doesn't mean that the designers are without Christmas spirit, and there are a few discreetly placed gifts if you look for them. For instance, the Faster Pussycat display includes gifts for both ladies and gentlemen. The jacket and pants I am wearing are meant for men, but I am happy to borrow from men's closets :D

BABY IT'S COLD OUTSIDE

I'm showing a few more cutie-pie stuffs from the Zombie Popcorn Winter Magic event. The holiday shopping is fun, the build is sweet with plenty of nice photo spots, and when I'm done taking photos here I think I'll need some hot chocolate. I am turning blue with the cold but at least my tongue is the right color.

This cute outfit from Severed Garden includes the fun sweater, a little sculpted miniskirt, leggings, fringed boots, and a headband with a pair of huge pompoms on it. I traded the headband for these snowy antlers, and reduced the skirt into a little sweater bottom. My legs kept sticking through the skirt, so I wanted to wear shorts.

THE WINTER MAGIC

I can't be this lucky!

Zombie Popcorn's Winter Magic event is going for two weeks, no it is not a Zombie-themed hunt, but a gorgeous winter sim full of Winter-themed shopping. I consoled myself for the absence of brainz with another pair of boots. Of course.

Humming "Walking in a Winter Wonderland" ... I opened the floodgates on Christmas music after I ate my pumpkin pie on thanksgiving. This year balancing my lives, my obligations, my family is presenting more challenges, but there was not a snowball's chance in Hades that I was going to miss the Winter Magic event presented by Zombie Popcorn. I did miss the blogger's preview dammit, but here I go anyway.

DINNER WITH THE DEAD

I was just taking the first bite, my eyes unfocused a bit in anticipation, when they walked in.

But there is always room for another guest at my table. Or perhaps on it.

When they showed me the flames, I turned to run, but I was distracted by the smell of supper. That moment's delay almost cost me my life ... such as it is.

I was slow to realize that they planned to herd me and lock me in here. Now they are standing at a distance, congratulating themselves. I can still smell the adrenaline and sweat through the hole in the glass.

So hungry. And even dead, I still hate fluorescent lights.

(Everything in this post was found on the Zombie Popcorn Hunt, except for one of the poses and the blood spatter in my dining room. The Hunt provided many other very nice prizes that I couldn't work into this post, including skins, clothing, lingerie, jewelry, poses, and furnishings. The Zombie-and-Goth themed items are magnificent. But there are plenty of goodies for those of you who find the undead uninteresting. Two thumbs up. ...
