SHOWING MY AGE

I've always loved to mash-up outfits with bits of this and that and mix old and new. I wore pointy ears and wings before it was the "thing" and I'm still wearing them after it was the "thing". This outfit contains rigged mesh, unrigged mesh, sculpted prims, system clothing and flexi-prims. The top half of my body is my system shape, the bottom half is a mesh body, because my kewl new pants are appliers-only. I wish Second Life had more appreciation for longevity; just because something is getting older doesn't mean it isn't still beautiful, like this scarf, which I bought in 2009. Hmm? TROLLBRIDGE AT SUNSET

Sunset is the wrong time of day to cross a Trollbridge. It's the time of day that trolls and other Wild things come out to eat.

I realize I don't LOOK dangerous. That's part of the plan.

(This is not a gratuitous butt shot. I wanted you to see the specially made belt with the tail guard. As well as the cute little birdie and ... okay it was still a gratuitous butt shot. ... These pants are knee length breeches with lovely bottom cuffs that I will have to show you in another post.)

SNOWY

I went for another tramp through Spellbound Woods today and as it started to get dark I headed to the top of the next hill to watch the sun set. I pushed through a patch of tangled branches to get to the top and stopped to catch my breath. It's colder than I thought. Maybe I should have worn a coat.

But it's so beautiful, maybe I'll just sit here a while.

I LOVE FALL

Dressing warmly for a walk in the woods. I'm in this mood as fall comes along.

The weather has been so nice and crisp the last couple of days, and the mossy woods and earth have complicated and enchanting scents I love ... they lured me out of doors. But I am not sure I remember my way back to the house. The mist is tricky.

I am sure this is nowhere near my home. I think I have wandered out of all the familiar places into one of the lands in Between.

These aren't the best shoes for hiking but who cares? They're fabulous.

I like to do a few fall posts of "normal" clothes but I'm not sure if I'll be doing many this year. It's October, so who has time for "normal"? Coming soon: all Things Halloweeny!!

SOME SASSY PINK

The whole outfit isn't pink, but a little cotton candy goes a long way.

The pink necklace is Kunstkammer's RFL item, available at the Fashion Expo. The pink MichaMi corset dropped on me like manna from DSN, and its seams are subtle but they whisper "vintage". Finally pink clogs from Duh! ... (I bought them all, but that's not as expensive as it sounds.)


The black leather balances out the sweetness nicely. I love this little jacket ... the prim bits fit over a jacket-layer piece, but if you need the jacket layer for something else, the prims work well all by themselves.

I wear the Hat/Hair with lots of things cause the hat changes texture on touch.
