MISS COLETTE

When I am not being a lazy layabout on the beach, I am starting to look around for some fall outfits. Liv Glam's "Colette"is a sweet little understated outfit that makes a nice backdrop for bolder accessories. By itself, it is almost Spartan, but it shines behind the jewelry and handbag. I pulled some Maxi Gossamer jewels and a vintage Sey handbag out of my closet to dress it up.



I'm still in love with this Essences skin because of the plush red lipstick! Now showing with this cute hairdo by Ploom that I picked up at Hair Fair. I like this monochrome hair color range in a HUD, you can also change all the hairbands several colors to go with different outfits.

A MONOCHROME SPRING

The outfit is rather minimalist but, honestly, I was more interested in the hat. And the makeup. They were so beautiful that I wanted to simplify everything else.



Glam Affair has these sweet little hats at Collabor88 right now and I was feeling rebellious so I chose not to blog the ones in all the cute pastelly colors. I decided to leave all the color on the skin instead. I layered over a flowered eye makeup which explains what is attracting all these butterflies!

THE BIRDS AND THE FISHES

Of course if one is an art geek and also a math geek, one must love Escher. (I could draw you a Venn Diagram, but you would probably throw a shoe at me or something.) I was not going to miss this Escher-inspired dress offered by Nylon Pinkney at the Epoch Legend event. Looking for shoes I pulled out these sweet little boots from Bax that embrace the Black-and-Tan esthetic of the dress and off I go.

What are you waiting for? You should go too. There are three venues for this event, featuring Escher, Beast, and Clown themes. All lovely. You can reach all three locations from the Epoch Landing at Beetlebones.
