MISS COLETTE

When I am not being a lazy layabout on the beach, I am starting to look around for some fall outfits. Liv Glam's "Colette"is a sweet little understated outfit that makes a nice backdrop for bolder accessories. By itself, it is almost Spartan, but it shines behind the jewelry and handbag. I pulled some Maxi Gossamer jewels and a vintage Sey handbag out of my closet to dress it up.



I'm still in love with this Essences skin because of the plush red lipstick! Now showing with this cute hairdo by Ploom that I picked up at Hair Fair. I like this monochrome hair color range in a HUD, you can also change all the hairbands several colors to go with different outfits.

I liked the Kanji Shirt when I saw it in the window, but in the interest of fair disclosure there is a little bit of seam showing at the waist, so I grabbed my Sey hoodie and tied it around my waist to hide that little bitta schmutz. A LITTLE COUNTRY

It all started with the hat. I forgot this beauty in my closet for too long. I put it on and started looking through piles of shoes for my cowboy boots.

That got me thinking about brown suede and maybe fringes or laces, and country living ... leading to this deer vest I picked up at silentsparrow. Honestly when I bought it, I wasn't sure what I would do with it, but it's perfect when you're in the mood for leather. Walking around in the country I could get cold, so I layered in a thermal henley and undershirt and some great socks.

THE HALLOWEEN SPIRIT 3/4

Tiny Bird Autumn Leaves Hair (Licorice and Orange)! The mask changes texture on touch to several colors and you may also tint it. Last 50L Friday I picked it up in brown haircolor and tinted the hair darker. Now you can get black and orange hair versions at the Sunny simwide hunt if you can find the right Bone. :)

NIGHT FLIGHT

A gorgeous day and a beautiful sunset in progress ... but the best part of my day is still coming. I am flying tonight. There is absolutely nothing like the feeling of flying in the dark. It is like being a god, traveling among stars. I don't have long to wait.

As my name indicates, I could fly without these mechanical wings, but I love the equipment. Humans are so brave, trusting themselves to one flimsy apparatus or another. (Actually these wings are more decorative than useful, so I carry a pouch of fairy dust on my belt. It's like a cosmic game of rock-paper-scissors: fairy dust beats gravity.)

Here is tonight's piece of apparatus: I will be flying dirigible. These days they use helium in the balloon. Can you believe they ever used flammable hydrogen?
