I'm on a road trip because I am feeling bored. So I've gone off in search of interesting locations to photograph instead of standing in front of a photo screen. I landed in the LEA sims but things are barely under construction on a new Art grant cycle. I was in luck though when I hopped over to LEA5, the Sandbox.



Cute little mini installations. This one was my favorite ... I can identify with this a little too well maybe. These hypnotic lines are scripted to move to what must be some arcane mathematical formula. The falling lady is motionless though, like that nightmare you have where you are falling downstairs and it takes way too long to hit bottom.

THE GRAPHIC EQUALIZER

When I was a kid my stepmother had a good stereo system with a Graphic Equalizer that had a whole grid of green lights on the front. Just a random memory that popped up when I tried on this dress! I think it's intended for boys, but who cares?

THE DEVIL'S BUSINESS

I have no idea what the title of this blog post is supposed to mean, except that Demon-Creature horns and Clawed Feet seem like an odd combination with a conservative suit. I don't care, I like it anyway.



The Creature pieces are by Death Row Designs over at Oh My Gacha. The craftsmanship is quite lovely and the legs come with both rigged and unrigged mesh versions if you would like to tinker. And the horns are unrigged and resizable, thank you.



The suit comes with a HUD that change all the pieces to a bunch of colors, including the ability to tint the sleeves, buttons and epaulettes to a different color. Quite nice!

This sweet furred jacket from LIV-Glam came with some eighties-retro baggy pants that I couldn't bring myself to wear because no matter how totally rad they are, I already lived in the eighties once. I love my baby dogue. She isn't new, but I checked and this puppy-in-a-bag is still free on the Marketplace, and the purse is color-change, so you can color-coordinate her with a whole bunch of outfits. In this case that's easier because the top and the shoes also change texture. The dress can also be green or monotone gray.



And the shoes come with a HUD that changes to forty-eight colors. That's enough isn't it? These are not SLink feet, but the feet are very nice, built into the shoes, and not too hard to color match with a little practice. There are also several shades of polish for the toenails built into the HUD ...

URBAN FRAME OF MIND

You know how they say in New York City there is only one color? Black isn't really a color, even though I love wearing it. So I added a patterned monochrome dress underneath. The coat is understated but the collar shape is lovely.



I wanted a pop of color and No. 7 has this nice glossy red lipstick out just now. It's serendipity.



These fabulous heels are a hint that there might be something hot hidden underneath the monochrome coat. The chain and heel ornaments are so delicate, but at the same time as tough as steel. Try them on and take a close look at the details. Wow.

I would love to be at Shoetopia right now, but I guess I will wait a couple of days instead of tearing my hair out while I wait for all the awesome shoe magic to download. AN EARLY SNOWFALL

I've been caught out in thin clothing by early snow. I guess I'll have to go shop for sweaters and jackets! Well today I am wearing an outfit of a type that I am hoping gets some traction in the stores. It's a hybrid, made of an old-school system shirt with separate sleeves, and a some nice mesh slacks. I like the system shirt because I could add a coat over it and leave off the puff sleeves. The only thing that needs improvement in my opinion is that instead of sculpted sleeves, it should come with mesh sleeves and collars. Unfortunately the makers of mesh have not been making much in the way of separate attachments. That would be such an improvement.
