DRAGON LADY

Today I had fun photographing a few beautiful new pieces from Finesmith and NV Corsetry! Finesmith has been putting out new jewels for us and I am wearing an avant-garde spiked hairpiece and lovely onyx beads. All resizable, and you can turn the full bright or glow on and off as you need for the occasion. I paired them with NV's Hatsuboku Corset in this subtle black and white print. You might want to click on the picture to get a closer look.



But it is too hard to pick just one of these corsets, there are so many sumptuous fabrics and prints from which to choose.

ON SAFARI

Ready for an adventure?



This tweedy poncho is great for staying warm in the high desert plain, but it sometimes wears oddly in extreme poses. I recommend trying a demo. The crisp little collar with metal points and button is lovely but I wish it were resizable. I adjusted my shape a bit to wear it.



The pants are handy with nice deep pockets, and a hefty pocket watch on a chain. Love the detailing and the long relaxed fit of the legs. One suspender dangling making me feel like the girl Indiana Jones!

MIRELLE

Amacci's Mirelle skin is not a Skin Fair exclusive, but I was determined this year to show a wider palette of Skin Fair offerings. I'm happy to see skin makers provide more variety.



Mirelle in Ebony skintone is a gorgeous girl, isn't she?



The cosmetics range from subtle daytime tones in nude and nutmeg, to sassy smoky looks in ruby and bordeaux.



This skin is less glossy and toned than many others, but if you like softer, less muscular skins, you may like Mirelle. If the skin has a weakness, it is the details on the feet, but if you always wear shoes or mesh feet, like I do, you may not mind.

Time is flying by and the week is almost done, but you still have a couple more days to support the Fashion for Life fundraiser before it closes its doors on Sunday. Just a sweet little conservative outfit, midnight blue, somewhere between chic and business appropriate. I don't wear dark blue much, but it's a good choice for the office.

I liked the Kanji Shirt when I saw it in the window, but in the interest of fair disclosure there is a little bit of seam showing at the waist, so I grabbed my Sey hoodie and tied it around my waist to hide that little bitta schmutz. Off I went to the Museum. I haven't been there for a while and there are several new displays. Loved it!

THIS BIKE IS SICK

I was called to Sick to recover ten stolen flash drives full of tech data for the S.I.C. Science Innovation Company. I equipped myself for a long night out prowling back alleys looking for them.

Yeah, a very long night.

They were so relieved to have their secrets back, they gave me a cycle prototype. Ditched the armor and went for a ride.

(At the entrance, pick up Instructions and a Hunt HUD to wear before you go out looking. Find and touch the ten "flash drives" to fill up your HUD, then find the computer box in the S.I.C. corporation building lobby, and follow directions to receive your reward. The Sick Sim hunts are always great ... but HARD. I found seven of ten pretty easy, but the last three were tricky. This time all ten boxes were located on the main Sick Sim, so you won't need to cross over to Sick2.)

TEKK DOCKSIDE

Tekk is the new club down at the old dock. When they offered me a security job I thought it would be fun. What was I thinking? Not like I was ever going to see any of the action inside the club.

It's a hot club in a bad part of town. Watching for trouble outside is a little risky. But no one wants the Gannano family looking for them later. Tonight someone hit me from behind. ... the shocker was, when I came around I still had my weapon.

*rubs the back of her neck*

(I love the jacket! ... but I think it's fair to mention that if you wear it without the collar, you can see where the seams are misaligned at the left shoulder. Still love it! )
