WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE

One of the most fun parts of Fantasy Faire is the people-watching.  Yesterday I walked past a dragon. Later I saw a satyr, a demon, and something else I couldn't identify dancing together around a fire. Let the wild rumpus begin!

I had such great fun today at the Fantasy Faire!! You absolutely must not miss it. The builds are really stunning. I say that every time I go ... but just when I think they couldn't possible do anything better, they completely surpass themselves. So much to see, do, and of course buy (all for a good cause of course).



Believe it or not this lovely fantasy skin is a gift from Plastik. If it is crowded when you go, you can wear it without hair, shoes or gadgets as a low-lag avatar; with covering for your naughty bits built in. It includes old-school system skins, and a bunch of appliers. (Oh yes there is also a skin set for Men.)

IT AIN'T EASY BEING GREEN

IT'S GOOD TO BE THE QUEEN

MISS PATIENCE

Lassitude and Ennui have served another delicious dessert of a dress at this month's Zodiac venue! Of course I believe wholeheartedly in gilding the lily, so I layered some lacy system layers underneath, and went for pure fantasy by adding these lovely horns that I picked up at the Plastik booth at Fantasy Faire.



I need to go back and get another HUD for the horns to texture change the gems, but when I was there I just couldn't choose! The basic HUD changes the colors of the leather straps and metal bits. Finally I put on a golden manicure and these cute little jeweled slippers that are some old favorites ... ready to go frolic in the faery woods!

WEDNESDAY

Little Wednesday Addams has grown up. But you know her style is still ... unusual. She fell in love with this menacing necklace she found at the Tekeli-Li booth at the Fantasy Faire. It's quite a statement necklace, but what is it saying?

And the Identity corset is a lot like Wednesday; it looks soft on the outside, but has to be strong on the inside. The little ruffle around the bottom softens the severe black. (It looks really sexy in the back too. You should go try it on.)

THE SKY MOON

While you visit Fantasy Faire, I hope you take some time to stop at the Rustica display. A quick trip with the teleporter thingy up to visit the SkyMoon. It isn't really fair to call it a skybox. The sphere looks like the moon from the outside, but inside it's your own slice of country. Resize and arrange the mesh mountains and boulders yourself, and use the controller to customise the sky and land textures for different times and seasons. A still photo can't convey how beautiful it is because the sky and water are animated. Go see!

THE DARK COMMANDER

The Commander watches the horizon for the ships. Today or tomorrow she will be leading a few thousand drow warriors to the assault of Cairon Moran, a city of Men. She will not lead from the rear like the little Lord she is going to destroy.

But at the moment, she is enjoying the last few quiet days.

DO MONSTERS GO TO THE MOVIES?

Do monsters go to the movies? Do they have predictable favorites, or should I have put the Team Jacob shirt on the vampire?

(I picked up the Werewolf Hair at the Fantasy Faire. I bought other things of course, but this was my "must-have" item. Go figure. It includes both male and female versions, and yes it has chest hair. You know you want it! ... One caveat: the front area of the hair has patches that you can see through from the side of the hair: not an error, but a design choice. Try a demo. If you don't like seeing scalp, you can cover it with a darker skin, or a skin with a hairbase.)
