I had such great fun today at the Fantasy Faire!! You absolutely must not miss it. The builds are really stunning. A HOT MESS

Yes I'm a Hot Mess. I filed for divorce last week, and I am emotionally mentally and spiritually scattered. I've got to get it together. It doesn't leave a lot of energy for blogging but I need to pick myself up and get on with things. So here is what I have been wearing for a few days.



I also have to mention the sneakers. These Chucks are another new purchase over at Damien Fate's new shoe store. They include a HUD that changes to twenty-three different textures, all original artwork by Nylon Pinkney! This texture went with this outfit, but most of the others are in bright colors and I will certainly be wearing them again. :D

SWEET SURIE

I just can't resist showing you another one of FatePlay's outfits from the Mystic Realms faire today! This Surie outfit includes a leather corselet with bracers, tunic, pants and boots, available in eight colors. The craftsmanship is really lovely. If you are using advanced graphics features, you can see the very subtle sheen on the leather bits: the top edge of the corselet is catching the light, just a little shiny but not too much. I also love the little wrinkles in the fabric on her arms, it looks very natural.



I promise this is not a Gratuitous Portrait close-up. Take a look at the fabric of the tunic. Can you see that sweet floral texture? Wow. I am impressed. I know I know, it's not every day you get to see a wood elf this close. After all, you breathe so loudly that I could shoot you in the dark. (Gratuitous Tolkien reference.)

I'm really excited for the Mystic Realms faire that is opening tomorrow! *squee* I'm bringing you a little preview of something you will see at FatePlay's booth, this delicious elfy "Nehtar Min" armored suit. Obviously I'm a woman in real life because I want to drool all over the boots. Is anyone looking forward to the next installment of the Hobbit as much as I am? I doubt it. This will have to hold me over till then.

LAVENDER DREAM

The lovely jewel tones of Fall don't have to restrict you to wearing rusty oranges and reds. I am still loving this purple gown all the way through to the first snowfall.

Time is just flying by and we only have through tomorrow to visit Fashion for Life! I can't believe it. If you haven't visited yet, now's your chance. This sweet little floral print is also available in brighter, more summery colors but I was just loving this fresh white.

SUSPENDED UNDER THE SEA

Trinity Yazimoto has placed some lovely dresses in the Petit Chat booth at Fashion for Life. This shop is new to me but I like that her gowns are all based on her original artworks. You can also view the art at her gallery if you would rather hang it on your walls than wear it. The Suspendu Pour L'Eternite dress includes some fishy attachments that float about your collar and skirt, and if you play the FFL passport game you can pick up the matching necklace and earrings. Fit for a mer princess!
