LIFE IS A SHOW

It's serendipitous how well these striped goods go together, considering they were all produced by different designers. I feel a little bit like a carnival candy-girl today. The cotton candy is cute! it must be licorice-flavored right? Yum.

It's been a while since I've shown any men's wear, but occasionally I can't resist! FATEwear has released several sweet new jackets. You can purchase individual colors, but if you buy a fatpack they come with scripted HUDs that change the color of the jacket and the shirt separately. Every jacket includes a hood-down, hood-up, and open version, and you can wear them without the shirt. Lovely.

Clearly I was in a snowy mood when I went to this month's edition of Collabor88, because everything I bought was in various shades of white and cream, like this dress! I am admiring Ison's modern sheath with the asymmetrical hem. So if we are going to wear snow, why not add some ice? Large faux stones in this jewelry set from LIV-Glam. A SHORT WALK

You can still pick up Ison's Assymetrical Jacket for a couple more days at Collabor88 before they change the collection, but after that no doubt it will return to their main store. Out of all the lovely bits from this month's lovely set, this was the most must-must-have for me. I love the unconventional cut. *yum* And dressed warmly, I went back for a second visit to the Winter Moon sim, with its disorderly trees and undergrowth, and I followed the path to the beach.



The path leads past water and through some lovely ruins. Along the way a few comfortable spots to stop and sit down to enjoy the scene.

EXPLORER AT THE RUINS

I put on my Explorer hat and went over to the LEA sims to see Marcus Inkpen's installation before it packs up in a couple of days. I wasn't disappointed. The rich, atmospheric textures are something you shouldn't miss. If you aren't trying to photograph an outfit, get into the environmental settings and tinker. Wow.



The mood is not left to chance or the Lab's shadow settings, but is baked into every piece. these Escheresque reflecting spheres revolve slowly, peacefully, almost inviting you to stop, sit down, and meditate. Still photos don't really convey the feeling, so you should see it yourself.



And yes, I am featuring several gorgeous stuffs I picked up at Vintage Fair. The luscious Moira Skin, perfect for redheads. Plastik's lovingly antiqued corset. LeeZu's crinkle-textured cropped jacket, with a flamboyant flipped-up collar. And Ison brought their all-the-way-up-to-there leather platform boots.
