I MUSTACHE YOU A QUESTION

Do you like moustaches? I found two moustache-themed bits hanging in my bloggity folder and an idea for an outfit was born. Lassitude and Ennui's dress and the cream-colored stockings are new over at Collabor88. Sorry but the moustache tights are no longer available, I picked them up on clearance and they're gone. But they are still cute right? *happydance*



The "Salt and Pepper" skins are a little different from Inka Mexicola's usual, I look so red-eyed and desolate!  Also included, reddened cheeks and tears tattoos. Find them at the Creepy Kawaii event. I was also tempted by the cute dress with the eyeballs, but come on I have so many of those already! :D Some purple lipstick and off we go! SIGHTSEEING

I'm on a road trip because I am feeling bored. So I've gone off in search of interesting locations to photograph instead of standing in front of a photo screen. I landed in the LEA sims but things are barely under construction on a new Art grant cycle. I was in luck though when I hopped over to LEA5, the Sandbox.



Cute little mini installations. This one was my favorite ... I can identify with this a little too well maybe. These hypnotic lines are scripted to move to what must be some arcane mathematical formula. The falling lady is motionless though, like that nightmare you have where you are falling downstairs and it takes way too long to hit bottom.

HO HO HO

I hope your Holiday was lovely and peaceful! I enjoyed it so much. I loved watching my daughter opening all her gifts but the best was how excited she was too see the new bike from Grampa. We kept it simpler this year; it was more relaxing. In Second Life, so many designers sent sweet little gifts. My favorite was the hunt over at the Inspiration Point sim. If you haven't gone yet, hurry!



I'll take a little time for happy introspection, to sip some hot cocoa, and put on some fuzzy slippers. I thought Christmas might be brown this year, but we finally got some snow late Christmas Eve.

SNOW FAE

This dress is a lovely contribution to the Peace on Earth Hunt from Blue Moon. It includes some simple animated flexi wings. The dress is actually pale green but the oncoming twilight is making it look gray. And Dench Designs' snowy décor is perfect for a winter photo shoot. Love it! I was tempted to add more animals and my sled and hot chocolate, but I didn't want you to be confused about what was included in the prop. Yes of course the bench has sitting poses in it.

THE LAST ROSE OF SUMMER

Summer is officially over and to be honest I am really relieved. This Summer and this year have been horrible. Good Riddance!



There has been a lot of death and near-death around this year so I think Ms. Singh's "Death Meme" this week is apropos ... I think I'll do this one!

1. Do you ever think about Dying? How do you expect you'll die? I have thought about dying a bit the last few years. Not wishful thinking really, but when life is hard I get pessimistic. I'm working on that.

2. Do you believe in an afterlife? If so, how do you visualize it? Yes I believe in heaven and hell but hell is easier to imagine. I try not to visualize the specifics of heaven, except for peaceful Happiness. We could all use more of that right? Oh wait, also heaven must have a beach. And pitchers of lemonade.

3. What is your preferred form of apocalypse and why? If we must have an apocalypse, I hope it is quick. How about a nice supernova?

4. How many times have you cheated death so far? I've been disgustingly healthy until this year. But when my doctor was describing my surgery, he still looked a little scared. I guess having someone almost die on the table is memorable.

5. What fictional villain would you be okay being killed by? What seriously? I'm not really up with the sexy-movie-villain thing. Loki is a punk.

6. If you're murdered, do you stay and haunt the culprits forever, or do you give up that opportunity to go to heaven/hell/Cancun? They say happiness is the best revenge, so I'm off to heaven. Just not yet okay? My daughter needs me.

7. Will you have done everything you wanted by the time you die? Of course not. But nearly dying this year has made me more determined to get off my butt and stop making excuses.

SIMPLE THINGS

I love the artistry in Second Life. I love it all: the beloved sims, the elaborate fantasies; but some of my favorites are just the small simple things, carefully done.
