RELEASE THE HOUNDSTOOTH

A little conservative outfit today. It would be boring without the texture, but I liked the contrast between the Houndstooth and the Floral lace. IT'S SO FLUFFY!

As winter wears on I am getting a little hungry for some color, and this sunny warm sweater is just what the doctor ordered! LET IT SNOW

This December you can go for a walk on the Snowy Side in a few finds from the Peace on Earth Hunt, which started the first of December and runs happily through Three Kings Day on the sixth of January. This is the Seventh year for this hunt and with 117 stops along the way, it should keep you happily occupied until you can finally get in to the Arcade. *grins*



I am feeling frozen in this frosty gown from Dulce Secrets. The sleeves are separate if you would rather not wear them. The outfit came with snowflake accessories, makeup, skin and some very pretty ice-blue eyes. I didn't try out the skin cause it would have meant matching my hands, feet and ears to a different skin-tone but you can try it to see if you like it. :D I finished the outfit with Ms. Mirja Mills' sweet fantasy mask and a lovely sapphire ring from GDit Jewelry.

Trinity Yazimoto has placed some lovely dresses in the Petit Chat booth at Fashion for Life. This shop is new to me but I like that her gowns are all based on her original artworks. THE DEVIL'S BUSINESS

I have no idea what the title of this blog post is supposed to mean, except that Demon-Creature horns and Clawed Feet seem like an odd combination with a conservative suit. I don't care, I like it anyway.



The Creature pieces are by Death Row Designs over at Oh My Gacha. The craftsmanship is quite lovely and the legs come with both rigged and unrigged mesh versions if you would like to tinker. And the horns are unrigged and resizable, thank you.



The suit comes with a HUD that change all the pieces to a bunch of colors, including the ability to tint the sleeves, buttons and epaulettes to a different color. Quite nice!

I would rather only be Queen for a Day. I'm not really fond of rigid ritual or endless cycles of obligatory appearances. One's lipstick must always be flawless, schedule adhered to, and manners strictly orthodox, or one is exposed to heartless criticism. Being perfect is an impossible job. Regarding the jacket, I am sure that the pelt came from some rare lavender Himalayan wildcat.



The crown is pretty, but a headache. Just imagine the hairpins.

ASPHALT

I'm just loving these hot new jackets. There are a couple of versions, each one comes with a HUD that changes the jacket to three different textures. For example, this one also changes to red and baby blue. They don't look exactly like leather, but more like a metallic, shiny futuristic synthetic. The black texture is especially shiny.



And I guess this is the futuristic world we are building to go with it. I'd type an ironic smiley, but I don't think so much asphalt is particularly funny.
