SNOW FAE

This dress is a lovely contribution to the Peace on Earth Hunt from Blue Moon. It includes some simple animated flexi wings. The dress is actually pale green but the oncoming twilight is making it look gray. And Dench Designs' snowy décor is perfect for a winter photo shoot. Love it! I was tempted to add more animals and my sled and hot chocolate, but I didn't want you to be confused about what was included in the prop. Yes of course the bench has sitting poses in it.

LAVENDER DREAM

The lovely jewel tones of Fall don't have to restrict you to wearing rusty oranges and reds. I am still loving this purple gown all the way through to the first snowfall.



The drapery of this Miamai gown is amazing isn't it? I love its natural asymmetry and flowing fabrics! So elegant.

PAPILLON

I loved so hard on this outfit while I was trying to pull it together. Like a lot of mesh pieces they don't fit together perfectly, but pretty darn close. I started out with this simple classic gown from Evie's Closet. If you look closely, there is a beautiful subtle print on the fabric. The dress also comes with a low jeweled belt that I am not showing here, because I didn't think it really matched the butterfly hair pieces from Remarkable Oblivion. I picked up the Stitched cloak a while ago at a Fantasy Gacha Fair; I like it although the rigging is a little odd, and it doesn't hang straight in some poses. I rounded it out with some cute gacha hair.

THE IT GIRL

When the "Genre" Venue opened, I was glad that there would finally be a place to go see a variety of fantasy, sci-fi and film genre categories, and the current incarnation is a joyful collection of Deco period-inspired pieces. Loving it! So here is a sweet little gown by Senzafine. The twenties girls wore long, body-skimming, slimming sheaths, sure to frustrate the girls with curves like me :D but you can go on a slider diet and slip into one of these hot little numbers.



I selected one of Curio's Vintage skins for its sassy bow lips, and added a glam new eye shadow by Kooqla from the Cosmetic Fair. This cosmetic also comes in a bouquet of summer colors. The liquid metallic look is en vogue.

I was excited to see that NV has a shop in Vintage Fair this year. It isn't the first time I've tried one of their corsets. Last time I found one inspired by bengali tiger skin, of all things! And this season's designs are also luscious. This luxe model sits highlighted on the mannequin at the center of the shop. The red and gold kanji print made me want to stroke the silky fabric.



And I love the almost tactile leather texture on this evening clutch. Zenith's leather bag can be held in hand or dangled over your forearm.



I wore these new pieces over a couple of my favorite simple wardrobe staples, and added some dramatic golden earrings and wicked heels. Ready for a night on the town!

TRAVELLER

I'm ready to step out for some weekend fun. Just a short hop on plane, train or automobile. My overnight bag is packed, and my clothes are stylish but comfortable enough. Daring jacket, capris. and sexy red-hot shoes.



Purple Moon's delish new leather jacket is bound to be a big crowd pleaser. I had a hard time deciding which color combination to show you because they are all so tempting. Trust me, I drooled all over the brown and teal version of the jacket. :D



I never had heard of TuTy's hair before, but this shop is offering several truly vintage styles. I am impressed with how much I like this hair, even though it bends several of my usual rules. the hair is very shiny, but I think it reproduces beautifully the pomaded and controlled styles of the early twentieth century. This wig is intended to reproduce a 1940's style but I think it would also work well with black skins, because if you look closely it shows a bit of frizz as if it has been treated with a relaxer. Maybe I'll blog this look next.

QUICKSILVER

One of my favorites from Hair Fair is this new shop called Gotzsche. The "Elizabeth" hair is draped in lovely almost Art Nouveau waves, but the style is very understated. I love a pleasant surprise, and I am looking forward to seeing what else they offer.



And this very simple outfit is made stellar by some rock-star cosmetics sold as a charity benefit item by Kooqla. These eyeshadows are being sold as a pack over at the Hope for Emilia Event that is raising funds to help after the Earthquake in Italy. The pack comes in several shades that you can see here in the vendor photo. If your wallet is very empty you can purchase the green "Nefrit" shadow for just L$1.



... And I think Apple May is giving us a very feminine piece in this mesh skirt. I don't usually think that hard geometrics emphasize my form, but I'm happy to be shown when I'm wrong!
