SIGHTSEEING

I'm on a road trip because I am feeling bored. So I've gone off in search of interesting locations to photograph instead of standing in front of a photo screen. I landed in the LEA sims but things are barely under construction on a new Art grant cycle. I was in luck though when I hopped over to LEA5, the Sandbox.



Cute little mini installations. This one was my favorite ... I can identify with this a little too well maybe. These hypnotic lines are scripted to move to what must be some arcane mathematical formula. The falling lady is motionless though, like that nightmare you have where you are falling downstairs and it takes way too long to hit bottom.

Catching up!! Here is a serendipitous match. GField's blouse is genius: the accompanying HUD changes the blouse between tucked and untucked versions, and picks between five colors. There are two different color HUDs. The tucked-in version fits almost perfectly with this skirt from Sysy's. There was a tiny gap between them that I hid by putting on a dark bodysuit underneath. The jewels are a nice little wardrobe staple too, because they change between eight colors.

I love a simple outfit with one outrageous accessory. While I would call Ms. Kungler's shirt simple, its drapery is so sophisticated! I paired it with a set of leather (suede?) pants that were once a store gift over at TokiDoki. I'm glad to finally show these, but sometimes you want to wait for the right outfit. I love the combination of plum and brown.

I do love Argyle. Once I got on the texture kick I had some difficulty restraining myself from adding more. I'm not exactly sure where the line is between "enough" and "too much". I wanted to add La Gyo's new paisley necklace and earrings. Should I have? I like Paisley too.

ON THE WILD SIDE

TWILIGHT IN AUTUMN

It's shameful how many lovely things sit in my closet unused, so I am wearing some old favorites along with the new bits.

The Aoharu turtleneck is not new but the simple narrow neck is perfect for layering under other collars and scarves. The Ingenue belt a gem. And the jewels by Alchemy Immortalis. Carefully crafted classics, that still compare beautifully with current art.

And the new: I love the graduated color on the Riddle skirt, and the sporty Mon Tissu hat. But the irresistable piece here is the skin. The new "Visitor" skins from Curio are amazing. There are several makeups that vary from almost-normal to unmistakably alien, including a set with otherworldly eyes and extra lipsticks. The face is unusually smooth and hairless, with small faintly pursed lips. (I added some eyebrows taken from an unwitting human donor.) I was severely tempted to give in and buy the megamultipak with like a zillion skintones, makeups and eyes, but ... :) darned budget.

I must, must show you this lovely mask from La Gyo's Mademoiselle collection. For some reason I was especially loving the one orange flower, so I wore burnt golden orange.
