CHRISTMAS GLAM

One unconventional outfit in traditional Christmas colors. I picked up the dress and jewels at the Christmas Expo. Honestly this may be the only outfit I show you from the event, because although there is plenty of fashion, the Expo is overflowing with other things I found more Exciting!! I will be showing you more this week! *Squee*!



This party dress from LIV-Glam is fabulous because it comes with a HUD that lets you change to NINETEEN different textures and also tint to fine-tune the color. Need I say more? You will definitely see it again soon. Today I picked a red texture to be seasonal. I layered it over a turtleneck and leggings because let's face it, baby it's cold outside!

HUNTING AT TWILIGHT

The sun is on its way down, and I'm getting ready to go hunting. No, not hunting for prey, silly. Today I'd rather go hunting for clothes. And shoes.

I already found these. I love how the little silver studs on the shoes go with the subtle sequin shine on these slacks. But I love most how cute my little toes look with these little straps.

I think the black stretch outfit would be perfect for a hunter looking to blend with the dark. And also fashionable, dressed up with a few smart accessories. Sometimes I like to keep it simple.

NUTMEG

The weather is turning cooler and I'm so grateful. I put a wreath of colored leaves and pumpkins on my door, and I'm looking for sweaters and thicker socks. Maybe I'm going a little overboard with the layering.

The nutmeg and cinnamon and cloves are waiting for the mortar and pestle. But the pumpkin isn't in at the grocery quite yet.

Now I wanted to tell you about this MESH hair. It isn't my usual style. I like it because of how it is rigged to my head and shoulders. I chose poses that show how I can turn my head left and right, without the long bits going into my shoulders at all. The effect is a bit static, so they included an extra attachment with floaty flexi bits to make it flow more naturally. Of course the down side is that the wig can't be resized, or individual strands of hair adjusted. But it is well worth a look! <3

You might think she is a wannabe except for her ears. Rough notches look like they have been taken out of each ear, with a tool that wasn't very sharp. They're still healing.

Still, no weapons. At least not that you can see. Unless you count lace as a weapon.

She strolls the street talking to herself a little.

(About the Hair! I cannot recommend enough that you go try on a demo of this hairpiece. Two of my hair wishes found a solution in this one hairpiece. ...

First, I wanted hair that is wearable under hats. This hair does not cover the top of your head but it's not intended to be worn without a hat. In the past I have enlarged hats to fit over various hairdos, but that never really looks right. I have also worn short men's hair under hats but wished for something more feminine. This style is actually much cuter in three dimensions than I could easily show in a snapshot.

Second, I wanted hair that is designed around my pointed fae-elf ears. Typically hair is designed to lay flat over human ears. This hair parts around each ear, with most of the hair behind and a couple of bits of hair curving appropriately around the front of each ear. Often I have to do lots of editing to fit hair so that it does not poke through my ears. Again, you really will see what I mean better if you go try on a demo. I also like having some hair in front of each ear to cover the juncture between the ear and the face, which never blends perfectly no matter how good a job you do matching the color.)

p.s. I did need to modify the prims on the shirt a good bit, because it was shaped to fit men, but it wasn't too hard. Apart from just the size, I tilted the bottom edges of the shirt-tails outward a little to keep them from cutting into my hips. Not too difficult.
